Going to work when life is hard elsewhere
The best way to manage work when life is hard elsewhere is to see it as an opportunity.
You can see this opportunity as anything you want it to be.
An opportunity to take a break.
An opportunity to spend time doing something that you like doing.
An opportunity to make a difference to other people
An opportunity to not have to think about what’s happening elsewhere
When life is hard and you have to turn up to work remember you don’t need to bring this to work.
You are the same person however you can choose how your life affects you.
Here are some tips:
-
Don’t succumb to the emotions of the moment
-
Keep your attitude positive
-
Speak with a friend or family member and have a vent session to help deal with what going on
-
Focus on the small tasks that you can complete without too much brain work

Your boss is not your therapist so you don’t need to go into the detail
